Čečovice (German Zetschowitz ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic . It is located nine kilometers northeast of Horšovský Týn and belongs to the Okres Domažlice .

Čečovice is located in the valley of the Chuchla brook in Chodská pahorkatina.
history
The place was first mentioned in a document in 1355.
After the abolition of patrimonial Zetschowitz formed from 1850 a community in the Pilsener Kreis and judicial district Bischofteinitz . From 1868 the community belonged to the Bischofteinitz district .
After the Munich Agreement , Zetschowitz was added to the German Reich and until 1945 belonged to the Bischofteinitz district .
In 1961, Čečovice was incorporated into Bukovec , and between 1984 and 1990 the village was part of Holýšov .
