Úboč (German Aubotschen , formerly Aubotsch ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic . It is located seven kilometers northeast of Kdyně and belongs to the Okres Domažlice .
geography
Úboč is located on the left side of the Merklínka brook in Chudenická vrchovina. At the southern exit of the village is the Úbočský rybník pond, to the east of the Všepadelský rybník. To the north rise the Zelená čepice (618 m) and the Velká skála (650 m), in the northeast the Pupky (556 m) and the Kozí vrch (495 m), to the east the Všepadelský Škarman (523 m), in the southeast the Velký Kouřim (642 m), the Malý Kouřim (660 m) and the U Linharta (634 m), south the Dubovka (650 m) and the Suchá hora (638 m), in the southwest the Hora (760 m) and the Herštýn (681 m) m), to the west of the Úlíkovská hora (710 m) and to the north-west of the U Vlčí jámy or Kněžská hůrka (658 m).
Neighboring towns are Svatý Petr, Kanice and Příkřice in the north, Všepadly in the northeast, Košenice, Bezpravovice and Pušperk in the east, Stará Ves, Černíkov , Rudoltice and Luh in the southeast, Mezholezy and Zalč in the south, Němčice and Stará Huť, Stanakov in the southwest, Úlíkov and Radonice in the west and Hříchovice, Brandýs and Hradiště in the northwest.
history
The first written mention of Úboč took place in 1251 as the Vladikensitz . Later the Úboč manor became part of the Herštýn castle lordship . Břetislav, a son of Půta Švihovský von Riesenberg , sold the Herštýn manor with the associated villages of Úboč, Němčice , Vlkanov and Košenice in 1534 for 2,350 groschen to the town of Taus . Vlkanov burned down in the same year and remained desolate. Since the castle had become uninhabitable, the Únějovice fortress served as the administrative seat from 1538 . Because of the city's participation in the uprising against the Habsburgs, their goods were confiscated by the court chamber in 1547. Two years later, the Karlstein burgrave Sebastian Markvart von Hrádek acquired the Herštýn estate with the desert castle for 900 shock groschen. In 1626 the Herštýn reign, which was united with Únějovice, was joined to the Bystřice nad Úhlavou reign. Later, the Counts of Czernin von und zu Chudenitz acquired the goods and added them to the Chudenitz rule . Until the middle of the 19th century, Úboč remained subject to the Chudenitz rule.
After the abolition of patrimonial formed Ouboč / Aubotsch 1850 with the district Stará Huť / Althütten a municipality in the judicial district Neugedein. From 1868 the municipality belonged to the Taus district . From 1880 Úboč t became the Czech municipality name . Ouboč , since 1924 the municipality has been called Úboč . In 1960 Němčice was subordinated to the Local National Committee Úboč. The following year Úlíkov was reassigned from Oprechtice to Úboč. On July 1, 1979, Úboč was incorporated into Koloveč . Úboč and Stará Huť broke away from Koloveč on November 24, 1990 and formed the municipality of Úboč.

No districts have been identified for the municipality of Úboč. Basic settlement units are Stará Huť ( old huts ) and Úboč ( Aubotsch ).
