history

The first written mention of crnikonis, pincernae imperatricis was in 1379 in the tax register of the Pilsen district . The village is said to be named after the cupbearer of Queen Johanna of Bavaria , Černík, who owned part of it. The other part was owned by a Dluhomil, the seat of which was probably the Čirnperk Fortress , which was located east of the village in a raised place above the pond. In the following time the village was referred to as Czrnyekow , Czarnykow and Czernykow . In 1410 a part of the village belonged to the Nový Herštejn lordship , with the Černíkov fortress the nobleman Čeněk was enfeoffed. Dietrich von Čiremperk, who later acquired the title of Černíkov , was one of the subsequent owners . In the second half of the 15th century the brothers Jindřich and Nachval Výrek von Riesenberg owned the Černíkov estate. Between the brothers Výrek and Duke Ludwig von Landshut there were mutual armed attacks because of claims for wages and damages. The conflict between Bohemian and Bavarian noblemen intensified in 1472 when the Výrek von Riesenberg and 2000 men raided the area of Viechtach and Deilnstein. Another campaign was directed against the property of the ducal councilor Paul Streitenberger. In the autumn of 1473, Duke Albrecht IV sent a Bavarian army under Captain Wolfgang Waldekar to Bohemia, which burned the villages of Černíkov, Úsilov , Vílov, Smržovice, Libkov , Rudoltice, Mlýnec and Babice. With this furious attack, which affected not only the goods of the Výrek von Riesenberg, but also the village of Poleň , which belonged to his ally Břeněk von Ronšperk, as well as other landlords , Duke Albrecht created new enemies in Bohemia. Then the brothers Výrek von Riesenberg divided the devastated rule; Jindřich received Černíkov and Nachval Úsilov. The village of Babice, which has been documented since 1233, was not rebuilt; the Stará Ves keeper's house was later built on the desert . Jindřich Výrek von Riesenberg died in 1506 without descendants; his property fell to his nephew Jan, with whose death in 1514 the branch of the Výrek von Riesenberg became extinct. The inheritance went to Jindřich Švihovský von Riesenberg, who sold the Černíkov fortress with the Meierhof , the Vorwerk and the village of Černíkov as well as the desolate village of Babice in 1519 for 725 Schock Meissen groschen to Nikolaus Nebílovský of Drahobuz, who added Černíkov to his Poleň rule. In the 16th century, the popular place name Černejkov emerged. Iron ore was mined in the corridors V šachtách and V jamách , and gold soaps were also found at Rudoltický potok. In 1592 the Nebílovský of Drahobuz struck the Černíkov manor with the desert festivals of the Ježovy rule . The next owner was Johann Christoph von Račín, who sold the estate to Heinrich Czernin von und zu Chudenitz on Švihov in 1615 . In the berní rula from 1654 14 properties are shown for Černíkov. In 1663 Johann Hermann Czernin von und zu Chudenitz inherited the rule. His daughter could not hold the over-indebted property; Ježovy was sold and the Černíkov manor, located on the other side, was added to the Chudenice estate . Until the 18th century, Černíkov was parish after Úboč , then it came to the parish of Poleň. In 1827 the local school started teaching. In the Theresian land register there are 24 farmsteads for Černíkov, one of which was subordinate to the Bystřice nad Úhlavou rule and the rest to Prokop Adalbert Czernin from and to Chudenitz auf Chudenitz. In 1839 the village consisted of 55 houses in which 475 people lived. Until the middle of the 19th century, Černíkov always remained submissive to Chudenice.

After the abolition of patrimonial Černíkov / Černikau formed a community in the judicial district of Neugedein from 1850. In 1864, miners from Merklín made experimental digs for iron ore in the Pod Skalicí corridor , but the iron content of the ores turned out to be too low for mining. From 1868 the municipality belonged to the Taus district . In the 1921 census, 376 people lived in the 63 houses in the village. At the beginning of 1976 Mezholezy , Rudoltice, Slavíkovice (with Nevděk), Úsilov and Vílov were merged with Černíkov to form a joint Local National Committee. Mezholezy and Úsilov became independent again in 1990. On January 1, 2007, Černíkov moved from the Okres Domažlice to the Okres Klatovy . There is an outdoor swimming pool in Úžlebec.
