Běšiny (German Bieschin ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic . It is located eleven kilometers south of Klatovy in the Drnový potok valley and belongs to the Okres Klatovy .

history

A country fortress was built here in the early years, some of which are still preserved today. The first written record comes from 1379, when the area belonged to Lords Častovoj, Sudov and Drslav von Bieschin , whose descendants held the village until 1612. For fourteen years the place belonged to the Lamingar von Albenreuth and later to the lords of Kolowrat .

The municipality of Běšiny consists of the districts Běšiny, Hořákov ( Horschakow ), Hubenov ( Hubenau ), Kozí ( Kutzau ), Rajské ( Rajska ) and Úloh ( Auloch ). Basic settlement units are Běšiny, Hořákov, Kozí, Rajské and Úloh.
