Chapel of the Virgin Mary of Mount Carmel

Dobršín (German Doberschin ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic . It is located five kilometers northeast of Sušice and belongs to the Okres Klatovy .

geography

Dobršín is located on the left side above the confluence of the Ostružná and Otava in the Šumavské podhůří ( Bohemian Forest Foreland ). The Dobršínský brook flows through the village. Dobršín is located in the Buděticko Nature Park. To the north rise the Ondola (609 m) and the V Horách (609 m), in the northeast the Čepičná (671 m) and the Svat (648 m), to the east the Pumperk (558 m), in the southeast the Bubečná (583 m) and the Zlatnice (570 m), south of the Hřeben (674 m), in the west the Minovka (556 m) and the Hora (588 m) and northwest the Strážiště (670 m). State road II / 169 between Sušice and Horažďovice runs through the village . The railway line Horažiceovice předměstí – Klatovy runs south of Dobršín , the next station is Sušice .

Neighboring towns are Lipová Lhota, Dubovka, Miřenice and Bohov in the north, Vlkonice, Budětice , Rabí and Čepice in the north-east, Žichovice , Nezamyslice and Čímice in the east, Bílenice, Bešetín and Lázna in the south-east, V Luhu, Nová Zášnavba, Velýká Chelná , Podmokly and Malá Chmelná in the south, Sušice , Hamr and Odolenov in the south-west, V Luhu, Hrádek and Tedražice in the west, and Čermná, Zbynice, Dalovice and Čejkovy in the north-west.

history

The village, located on an old path between the royal town of Schüttenhofen and Raby Castle, was first mentioned in documents. In 1584 the town of Schüttenhofen bought Dobršín from Emperor Rudolf II. Until the middle of the 19th century, the village was always subject to the town of Schüttenhofen .

After the abolition of patrimonial Dobršín / Doberschin formed a municipality in the judicial district of Schüttenhofen from 1850. From 1868 the community belonged to the district of Schüttenhofen . In 1860 the community bought a house to run the school; before that, lessons took place on a farm every year. At the end of the 19th century, Dobřín t. Dobršín and from the beginning of the 20th century Dobřín used as Czech place names; since 1924 the form of the name Dobršín has been used again. In 1911 the new school building was inaugurated. In the course of the abolition of the Okres Sušice, Dobršín was assigned to the Okres Klatovy in 1960. In 1961 it was incorporated into Sušice . Since January 1st, 1993 the municipality Dobršín exists again. The center of Dobršín has been protected as a village monument reserve since 1995. There is a large quarry in Lom Hamr.

Attractions

  • Neo-Gothic chapel of the Virgin Mary of Mount Carmel on the village square. It was built in 1869 and renovated in 1977. The chapel is protected as a 1st category cultural monument.
  • Village square with preserved farmsteads in storage type construction from the 2nd half of the 17th century, partly also gabled courtyards in peasant baroque style from the transition from the 18th to the 19th century. The ensemble is protected as a village monument reserve.
  • Čepičná nature reserve, northeast of Dobršín
  • Former school with a portrait of Comenius on the facade, built in 1911
