history

Zavlekov was first mentioned in documents in 1334 as the property of Dlouhomil von Welhartitz , who probably had the mighty fortress built on the rock above the village. In 1374 his son Bušek von Sawlekom transferred to Sawlekom his wife Eliška the villages Tužice, Zavlekov and Mladice, the Mladice farm and various farms as a morning gift . In 1404 Bušek's widow sold the estate to Johann von Hirschstein ( Jan z Herštejna ). His son Wilhelm struggled in 1455 against the measures imposed by the death of Eliška of Zavlekov escheat and tried his goods Zawlekowic , Tužice, Přebořice and Buršice to keep. King George of Podebrady ended the dispute in 1465 and awarded the goods to Wilhelm von Hirschstein ( Vilém z Herštejna ), as his father had bought them publicly at a market. Jan Herštejnský von Welhartitz sold the goods to Půta Švihovský von Riesenberg around 1480 . In 1504 his son Břetislav inherited the property, and the fortress was probably already deserted at that time because of its narrow space. In the middle of the 16th century, the Zavlekov rule fell apart. In 1543, the Švihovský von Riesenberg sold the Tužice estate to Peter Zmrzlík von Schweißing , who also bought Ústaleč, Buršice and Mladice the following year. The Zawlekom estate with its desert festival was sold to Johann Chanowsky von Langendorf in 1544. He had a new fortress built in the middle of the village. In 1590 the estate belonged to Dorothea von Neschow, who donated a bell to the church in the same year. In 1602 the Dlauhowesky von Wlcznow sold the Hnáň fish pond to the owner of the Elischau estate, Friedrich Švihovský von Riesenberg. Because of his participation in the class uprising of 1618 , the goods of Georg Chanowsky von Langendorf were confiscated in 1623. The new festival is mentioned for the first time in the taxation certificate of 1626. In 1637 the Zavlekov estate was returned to Georg's son Georg Nikolaus Chanowsky von Langendorf by the Bohemian Chamber. He sold the Zavlekov estate with the new festival in 1669 to Diviš Lev Žákavec from Žákava and Poleň . In 1689 Ludmila Veronika Doudlebská von Doudleby bought the estate from him. Her heirs sold Zavlekov in 1707 to Adam Humprecht Fortunat Kotz von Dobrz . The new fortress probably fell into desolation at the end of the 17th century. In the first half of the 18th century, further changes of ownership followed in quick succession. In 1720 the place was Germanized as Souflek . In 1733 the owner of the estate, Ferdinand Bohuslaw Serins von Aychenau, donated a new bell to the church. In 1739, Wenzel Maria Josef von Pötting and Persing acquired the Zavlekov estate and added it to his rule in Elischau; the festival was no longer mentioned in the purchase contract. In 1769, Count Franz Xaver Taaffe bought the Elischau estate. The childless dragoon obrist transferred the rule to his nephew Rudolf Graf Taaffe in 1797 . This was followed by his son Ludwig Graf Taaffe . In 1808, the Mochtín - Horažďowitz section of the Aerarstrasse from Taus via Klattau to Wittingau was completed.

The Zamlekau estate , actually Zawlekow , in German called Sauflek , only included the village of the same name in 1838. This consisted of 50 houses with 372 inhabitants, including two Israelite families. Under the patronage of the authorities, the local church of St. Trinity, the localist house and the school. There was also a retreat in the village. Off were the mill pond on Zamlekauer ( Zavlekovský Mlyn ) as well as on a high cliff, the ruined castle of Zawlekow and below it the Chaluppe Podskalská. Zamlekau was the parish for Austaletz ( Ústaleč ), Brod, Burschitz ( Buršice ), Klementimow ( Mladice ), Krutienetz ( Krutěnice ), Malá Planička ( Plánička ), Přebořitz ( Přebořice ), Tuschitz and Wlčnow ( Vlčnov ). Until the middle of the 19th century, Zamlekau remained subordinate to the Allodialgut Elischau including Zamlekau.

After the abolition of patrimonial formed Zavlekov / Zamlekau 1850 with the districts Klementice / Klementinow and Tužice / Tuschitz a municipality in the judicial district Planitz. From 1854 the place was called Závlekom . Karl Graf Taaffe inherited the large estate in 1855, followed by his brother Eduard Graf Taaffe in 1869 . From 1868 the community belonged to the Klattau district . At the end of the 19th century, the Czech parish name was first changed to Zavlekom and later to Zamlekov . Heinrich Count Taaffe inherited the estate in 1895 . Tužice broke away from Zamlekov in 1907 and formed its own municipality. In 1924 Zavlekov was renamed the official place name and the district Klementice in Mladice . Eduard Karl Richard Taaffe, who in 1928 inherited his father's goods, which had been greatly reduced by the land reform, sold them to the Prague banker František Müller in 1936 because of over-indebtedness. In 1949 Zavlekov was assigned to the newly formed Okres Horažďovice, after its abolition, the municipality came back to Okres Klatovy in 1960 . 1961 Plichtice, Skránčice and Tužice were incorporated. On November 26, 1971 Vlčnov was added as a district. Tužice has been independent again since the beginning of 1994.
