history

Struhadlo was founded in 1379 by the Pomuk Cistercian monastery . The new village consisted of eight peasant farms and a Kretscham, which were laid out around the circular village square, as well as a remote mill ( Flosmanův Mlýn ). After the Hussites, led by Jan Žižka, destroyed the Pomuk monastery on their way from Rabí Castle to Pilsen in 1420, Wilhelm Kostka von Postupitz first appropriated the lands around Planitz . King Sigismund pledged the rule of Pomuk on August 22, 1420 to the brothers Bohuslav and Hynek Krušina von Schwanberg . The rule Grünberg arose from the monastery property . After Žižka's army failed to take the Rabí castle again in 1421, the rebels moved to Žinkovy via Struhadlo . They shot at the city of Planitz from the hills around Struhadlo and partially burned it down. The villages around Planitz initially remained in the hands of the Hussites, a Hussite parish was established in Třebíšov. After the end of the Hussite Wars , Emperor Sigismund left the village of Struhadlo to the Klattau citizen Janko Janeba for 60 shock groschen . In 1437 the emperor bought the village back and returned it to the rule of Grünberg. In 1528 Zdeniek Lev von Rosental acquired the Grünberg estate. He was so indebted at his death that the rule from his estate was confiscated in 1536 and sold by the Bohemian Chamber to Adam von Sternberg . In 1551 he had the village of Újezd laid out. On February 4, 1558, the rule Grünberg was assigned to the treasurer of the Kingdom of Bohemia and Oberstlandschreiber by Emperor Ferdinand I in the land table as hereditary property. In 1562 Adam von Sternberg divided the property between his four sons, while Ladislav received the rule of Grünberg. Ladislav von Sternberg, like his sons afterwards, managed the estate poorly; in 1606 Ladislav d. J. von Sternberg incapacitated. In 1620 the lords of Sternberg had to sell the villages of Kvasetice, Bližanovy and Struhadlo. Adolf Bernhard von Martinic , who had acquired the rule Grünberg from Leopold von Sternberg in 1726, gradually bought back the goods around Planitz and Niemtschitz. In 1760 Adolf Bernhard von Martinic was executed for the murder of his grandson, who came from an inappropriate relationship between his daughter and his forester. After the loss of her child, Maria Dominika von Martinic entered the monastery of St. Anna in Vienna . In 1790 she sold the property to Count Franz von Wallis , who bequeathed it to Count Colloredo-Mannsfeld. In 1834 the rule belonged to Countess Wilhelmine von Auersperg nee Colloredo-Mannsfeld .

After the abolition of patrimonial Struhadlo formed from 1850 a district of the municipality Němčice in the judicial district of Planitz. From 1868 the village belonged to the Klattau district . In 1877 Mlynářovice and Struhadlo broke away from Němčice and formed the municipality of Struhadlo. The Counts of Auersperg held the property until 1931.

To distinguish it from the other municipality of Struhadlo in Okres Klatovy , the place has been officially named Mlýnské Struhadlo since 1949 . In 1961 it was incorporated into Újezd u Plánice . Between 1976 and 1990 the village was incorporated into Plánice . Mlýnské Struhadlo has existed again since November 24, 1990.
