history

The first written mention of Neurazy comes from 1551. The place on an old connecting road that led from Prague to Rome is much older and was one of the villages of the Pomuk monastery, which was destroyed in 1421 . On Plátěná hora between Nová Ves and Vojovice there were Hussite camps in 1419 and 1424.

The church in Neurazy was a branch church of Myslív until 1772 and was then raised to the position of Expositur . In 1789, around 550 people lived in the village and by 1910 their number had increased to 728. In 1910 the two-class village school also started teaching, which the children from Bližanovy, Klikařov and Vojovice also attended.

In 1913 a new church was built, which was consecrated as a third-tier church two years later. Between 1921 and 1922, the Prague company "Česká dřevařská společnost" built a sawmill east of the village that provided 30 jobs. The saw was the only company in the village for a long time and the residents had previously suffered great hardship. Many young people left and settled in Vienna , Pilsen and Prague , around 1900 Saxony increasingly became the destination of emigrants, who mainly moved to Chemnitz or Mittweida .
