Borovno (German Borowno ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic . It is located six kilometers east of Spálené Poříčí and belongs to the Okres Plzeň-jih . The cadastral area is 326 ha.
geography
Borovno is located 582 m above sea level. M. on the western edge of the Brdywald . The village is located on the state road 19 between Pilsen and Rožmitál pod Třemšínem on the right slope of the Bradava valley.
Neighboring towns are Číčov and Hořice in the north, the military training area Brdy in the north-east, Bělehrad and Míšov in the east, Dolní Borovno and Planiny in the south, Hořehledy in the south-west, Těňovice in the west and Záluží and Lučiště in the north-west.
