The first documentary evidence comes from 1352 and testifies that Mileč was one of the villages of the Pomuk Cistercian monastery . The village may have temporarily passed to other owners, because in 1373 the landlord of Vrčeň referred to himself as Přibík von Vrčeň and Milče and around 1400 Michael von Milče was bailiff on Grünberg . After the destruction of the monastery by Jan Žižka's troops , Mileč became one of the subordinate villages of the Grünberg rule in 1420, but it was part of the Plánice rule between 1630 and 1789 . The berní rula identifies five farmers and one gardener for Milče , as the village was then called.

With the replacement of patrimonial Mileč achieved its independence in 1850. In 1920 the village had 274 inhabitants.
