history

Drahkov was first mentioned in a document in 1379. In 1415, the Drahkov fortress can be documented for the first time, which was probably built around 1400 and renewed in 1581. Parts of the village belonged to the Řenče manor before 1581 . After the sale to Jáchym Loubský z Lub in 1615, the latter united the property with Řenče and Dolní Lukavice . In 1620 Martin Wiedersperger von Wiedersperg became master of Drahkov. In 1623 he was punished for his participation in the class uprising with the collapse of the Drahkov rule and the loss of half his fortune.

During the Thirty Years War several changes of ownership took place. The imperial colonel Philipp Kratz von Scharfenstein was executed as a defector and Drahkov fell to Albrecht von Waldstein , who probably never saw his new property. He was followed by Lorenzo Maderle von Mansperk. In 1650 the lordship was united with Prádlo and from 1681 with Chocenice . At that time the old Drahkov Fortress was probably already desolate.

After the replacement of patrimonial Drahkov became an independent municipality in 1850.
