Životice (German Schiwotitz ) is a municipality with 51 inhabitants in the Czech Republic . It is located eight kilometers southeast of Nepomuk and belongs to the Okres Plzeň-jih . The cadastral area is 430 hectares.

Životice is located 508 m above sea level. M. to the right of the Víska, which is dammed below the village in Velký Životický rybník, on a steep slope. The European road 49 / State road 20 between Nepomuk and Blatná runs through the upper village . The branch line Třebčice- Blatná runs south of Životice .
Neighboring towns are Kladrubce in the north, Chloumek in the northeast, Kasejovice in the east, Polánka and Podřesanice in the southeast, Kotouň and Olší in the south, Bezděkovec and Zhůřek in the west and Podhůří in the northwest.
