Vlčí (German Wölfling ) is a municipality with 63 inhabitants in the Czech Republic . It is located seven kilometers northeast of Švihov and belongs to the Okres Plzeň-jih . The cadastral area is 401 hectares.

geography

The place is located at 483 m above sea level. M. at the source of the Vlčí potok, a right tributary of the Úhlava . Vlčí is surrounded by wooded hills, the highest of which is the 556 m high Velký les in the north.

Neighboring towns are Stropčice in the west, Zálesí in the north, Horšice in the northeast, Lužanská Nová Ves, Nová Ves and Kbel in the south and Kaliště in the southwest.

history

Vlčí was first mentioned in 1355. Until the middle of the 20th century, the district Lužanská Nová Ves ( Neudorf bei Luschan ), which is now part of Kbel , belonged to the village .
