Radkovice (German Radkowitz ) is a municipality with 89 inhabitants in the Czech Republic . It is located four kilometers southeast of Přeštice and belongs to the Okres Plzeň-jih . The cadastral area is 332 ha.
geography
The place is located at 387 m above sea level. M. in the valley of the Zlatý potok between two wooded hills, the Skála (542 m) in the south and the Jindřín (535 m) in the west.
Neighboring towns are Kucíny in the north, Dolce in the east, Vitouň in the south, Zálesí in the south-west and Příchovice in the north-west.
history
Radkovice was first mentioned in a document in 1379 as a fortress belonging to the Skála Castle . After the acquisition by Heralt Kavkov of Říčan, the property was attached to the Švihov rule . In 1603, Friedrich Švihovský von Riesenberg bought Radkovice together with Kucíny and the deserted Skály Castle. After Baron Henninger von Seeberg had acquired the property at the end of the 17th century, it became part of the Horšice manor . With the sale to Count Schönborn , Radkowitz became part of the Příchovice estate from 1716 .
After patrimonial was replaced , Radkovice became an independent municipality in 1850.
