Útušice (German Autuschitz ) is a municipality with 555 inhabitants in the Czech Republic . It is located seven kilometers south of the city center of Pilsen on the Úhlava and belongs to the Okres Plzeň-jih . The cadastral area is 1566 ha.
geography
The place on the outskirts of Pilsen is 335 m above sea level. M. on the left bank of the Úhlava in the side valley of the Útušický potok. To the north of the village is the Pilsen city bypass of the D 5 / European route 50 with the Úhlava valley bridge. To the east on the opposite Úhlava ridge is the Val hill (434 m), through which the Valík motorway tunnel runs. To the northwest is the Plzeň-jih motorway exit to European route 53 / state road 27 from Pilsen to Přeštice . State road 180 from Starý Plzenec to Dobřany passes south .
Neighboring towns are Radobyčice in the north, Černice in the northeast, Štěnovice in the east, Robčice in the south, Šlovice in the west and Litice in the northwest.
history
The beginnings of the place go back to the 13th century. Over the years, more calups were built around a homestead. The village, which at the time consisted of around 15 to 20 large farms, can be documented for the first time in 1393. The owners were various noble families, and for a long time the place belonged to the Štěnovice domain . Over the centuries Útušice remained a farming village. The place name varied between Hautušice , Hutušice , Houtušice , Hutuší , Huduší , Autušice , Outušice and since 1875 the current place name prevailed. In German usage was Autuschitz used.
After the abolition of patrimonial Autuschitz became an independent municipality in 1850, in which around 230 people lived. In 1920 the population had risen to 507.
In the 1950s the farmers were collectivized and Útušice became the seat of an agricultural cooperative , which in 1954 built a cattle barn. In the 1960s the school was closed and the students were transferred to Štěnovice.
