Ostřetice (German Ostretitz , formerly Wostřetitz ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic . It is located five kilometers northeast of Klatovy and belongs to the Okres Klatovy .

geography

Ostřetice is located in the Bolešinská kotlina ( Boleschiner Kessel ) belonging to the Schwihauer Uplands ( Švihovská vrchovina ). The Rundling lies on the right side of the Domažličký creek on a hill. The Pod Ostrým (472 m) rises to the northeast, the Hora (484 m) to the east, the Zámková hora (442 m) to the southeast and the Bůrky (421 m) to the west. Road II / 191 between Klatovy and Nepomuk leads through Ostřetice , from which road II / 117 branches off to Blovice northeast of the village .

Neighboring towns are Makalovy, Otín, Předslavský Mlyn and Předslav in the north, Měcholupy and Újezdec in the Northeast, Pod Horou and Domažlický the east, Kroměždice, Myslovice and Bolešiny the southeast, Kydliny, Cinovec and Cihelna in the south, Slavošovice, Pihovice, Klatovy and Čertovka in Southwest, Chaloupky, Anenský Dvůr and Točník in the west and Pod Hrází, Vícenice, Kokšín and Vosí in the northwest.

history

Ostřetice was first mentioned in writing in 1379 in the tax register of the Pilsen region . The village was almost always a council village of the royal city of Klattau . in the berní rula of 1654 eleven estates are listed for Ostřetice, ten of them were farms. Ostřetice remained subservient to Klattau until the middle of the 19th century.

After the abolition of patrimonial formed Ostřetice / Wostřetitz 1850 with the districts Makalovy and Slavošovice a municipality in the Klatovy district and judicial district Klatovy. From 1868 the community belonged to the Klattau district . Slavošovice became independent in 1880. At the beginning of the 20th century the municipality had the Czech name Ostřetice t. Vostřetice , Ostřetice has been used again since 1924 . On July 1, 1975 Ostřetice and Makalovy were incorporated into Bolešiny . Since November 24, 1990 Ostřetice has again been a separate municipality.

Due to its valuable building structure, Ostřetice was declared a rural monument protection zone in 1995. Two of the original four tall stone granaries have survived. The tower warehouses equipped with late Gothic portals on farmsteads 6 and 10 were demolished.

Community structure

The municipality Ostřetice consists of the districts Makalovy ( Makalow ) and Ostřetice ( Ostretitz ). The basic settlement unit is Ostřetice.
