Hnačov (German Nadschow , formerly Hnadschow ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic . It is four kilometers south of Plánice and belongs to the Okres Klatovy .
geography
Hnačov is located in the Blatenská pahorkatina ( Blatna Mountains ). The village is located on the right bank of the Bradlava on the north bank of the Hnačovský rybník pond. To the north rise the Bouček (578 m) and the Zbudov (644 m), in the northeast the Javorka (605 m), to the east the Chocholka (650 m) and the Hora (675 m), in the southeast the Mýť (603 m) and the Malá hora (604 m), to the south the Kloudova hora (604 m), in the southwest the Skalka (635 m), to the west the Křížovická hora (652 m) and in the northwest the Šiškovka (653 m) and the Javor (656 m) . Road I / 22 runs two kilometers south between Klatovy and Horažďovice .
Neighboring towns are Plánice , Zajícova Cihelna, Voldřichova Cihelna and Nicov in the north, Zborovy , Loužná, Žďár and Camberov in the northeast, Těchonice, Pohodnice, Šiplík and Velenovy in the east, Plichtice and Tužice in the southeast, Zavlekov , Hospoda and Novospoda in the south , Skránčice and Číhaň in the south-west, Křížovice, Kramlův Mlýn and Zdebořice in the west and Nová Plánice, Kvaslice, Vracov, Pod Horou and Vítkovice in the north-west.
history
Hnačov was first mentioned in a document in 1411. In 1613 the Bradlava was dammed into a large fish pond.
After the abolition of patrimonial formed Hnačov / Hnadschow 1850 a district of the municipality Plichtice in the judicial district Planitz. From 1868 the village belonged to the Klattau district . In 1907 Hnačov broke away from Plichtice and formed its own community. In 1960 Hnačov was incorporated into Plánice. In 1982 the village had 107 inhabitants. The village of Hnačov has existed again since November 24, 1990. In the 2001 census, 79 people lived in the 36 houses in Hnačov.
Today Hnačov is a resort. There are several campsites and holiday settlements around the Hnačovský rybník.

- Chapel of St. Wenceslas, built at the beginning of the 20th century
- Pond Hnačovský rybník, popularly called Hnačovák . It was laid out in 1613 and originally had an area of over 100 hectares. With its water surface of 68.38 hectares, it is now the second largest pond in western Bohemia. Today it is mainly used for recreational purposes.
