Nehodiv (German Nehodiw ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic . It is located 19 kilometers east of Klatovy and belongs to the Okres Klatovy .

geography

Nehodiv is located in the foothills of the Bohemian Forest on the Planitz ridge (Plánický hřeben). The village is located on the southeast slope of the Stírka hill. In the south runs the valley of the Štipoklaský potok, which flows into the big pond Myslívský rybník in the southeast.

Neighboring towns are Polánka in the north, Draha and Myslív in the northeast, Milčice in the east, Loužná in the southeast, Žďár in the south, Štipoklasy in the southwest, Lovčice in the west and Pohoří in the northwest.

To the west of Nehodiv are marble quarries . In them one won the so-called Nepomuk marble (Nehodivský mramor). This gray striped marble is extremely weatherproof. Four geometrical bodies can be seen at the Prague-Holešovice bus station. In the region around Nehodiv it was often used for tombs and house entrance stairs, also in rural architecture.

history

Nehodiv was first mentioned in a document in 1558.

After the abolition of patrimonial in 1848, Nehodivo was part of the municipality of Štipoklasy. In 1869 the village in the Klattau district gained independence. The current place name Nehodiv has been in use since the 1920s . From 1950 to 1961 the municipality belonged to the Okres Horažďovice. After its dissolution, Nehodiv came back to Okres Klatovy. On July 1, 1975 Nehodiv was incorporated into Myslív. With the beginning of 1992 the parish Nehodiv came into being again.
