The Černíčský potok (German torrent ) is a left tributary of the Otava in the Czech Republic .

course

The Černíčský potok rises below the quarry at Ptákovna in the Blatenská pahorkatina. Its source lies at the southeastern foot of the Křemešná (673 m) or south of the Brda (640 m). The upper reaches of the Černíčský potok leads north of the Vidhošť (759 m) and the Stráž (716 m) past Buršice, Vlčince, Suchá to the east to Valcha, where the stream in the Valcha pond is dammed. Then the stream takes a south-easterly direction. Above the single layer Letovský Mlýn there is another larger pond called Letovský rybník. Then the Černíčský potok flows through the Duškovec pond and reaches Otěšín, where it turns again to the east. Its further course leads over Na Průhoně and Miřenice to the east into the pond Kuchyňka. Past Černíč , Vlkonice and Bojanovice, the Černíčský potok again takes a south-easterly course on its lower reaches. After 15.2 kilometers, the Černíčský potok flows into the Otava near Bojanovice.

Between Otěšín and its confluence with the Otava, the course of the Černíčský potok forms the northern border of the Buděticko Nature Park.
