Mutěnín (German Muttersdorf ) is a municipality in the Plzeňský kraj region in southwest Bohemia in the Czech Republic . 259 inhabitants (2012) live in an area of 15.48 km².

history
The village was first mentioned in a document in 1253.
After the Munich Agreement , Muttersdorf was added to the German Reich and until 1945 belonged to the Bischofteinitz district .
The Jewish cemetery has been preserved .
Nature reserve
The Mutěnínský lom is a natural monument . It was founded in 1990 and covers an area of 1.70 hectares . (see the list of nature reserves in Plzeňský kraj # natural monuments )

Community structure
The municipality Mutěnín consists of the districts Erazim ( Erasmus ), Mutěnín ( Muttersdorf ), Ostrov ( Wasserau ) and Starý Kramolín ( Alt Gramatin ). Basic settlement units are Bezvěrov II ( Wasserau II ), Erazim, Mutěnín, Ostrov and Starý Kramolín.
The municipality is divided into the cadastral areas Bezvěrov I ( Wasserau I ), Bezvěrov II, Mutěnín and Starý Kramolín.
