Čermná (German Tschirm ) is a municipality in the Okres Domažlice in the Czech Republic .

geography

The neighboring towns are Staňkov ( Stankau ) with the district Krchleby ( Stirchlowa ) in the north, Poděvousy ( Podiefuss ) in the east, Hlohovčice ( Lohowtschitz ) in the south and Hlohová ( Lohowa ) in the west.

history

The place was first mentioned in a document in 1233. The chapel of St. John and Paul ( sv. Jana a Pavla ) from 1897, which was renovated in 2001, is worth seeing .

traffic

Čermná is located on a side road which branches off from road 185 at Hlohová and leads east after two kilometers onto road 183 at Poděvousy. There is a bus stop in the center of the village and another at the junction at Poděvousy.
