From 1513 Jan Bohuchval von Hrádek belonged to the subsequent owners of the manor, who attached it to the Lštění fortress. By marrying Eliška von Hrádek, Diwisch Czernin von Chudenitz acquired the rule Lštění in 1528. Thereafter, the Močerady estate belonged to the Lords of Roupov, who sold it to Václav Lev Žákavec on Srbice . Later the lords of Bubna bought Močerady and in 1711 they sold the estate to Count Czernin von Chudenitz. In 1751 Močerady was assigned to the new Klattau district. Močerady was to this the northernmost village of Wenceslaus Prokop Czernin from and to Chudenitz belonging lordship Chudenitz . In the years 1771 and 1772 almost the entire population of Močerady and also the cattle died from starvation and epidemics. The Chudenitz rule then settled in Močerady Bulatschen ( Buláci ) from the cycle bus area around Staňkov, who brought their dialect, customs and costumes with them.
After the abolition of patrimonial formed Močerady / Motscherad 1850 with the district Nové Dvory / Neuhof a municipality in the Klatovy district and jurisdiction Bischofteinitz . In 1851 the municipality of Močerady bought itself free from the Chudenitz dominion for 600 guilders. In 1862 179 people lived in the 31 houses of Močerady. From 1868 the community belonged to the Bischofteinitz district . In 1948 Močerady was assigned to Okres Stod, and since 1961 the village has belonged to Okres Domažlice .
