Srbice (German Serbitz ) is a municipality in Okres Domažlice in Plzeňský kraj in the Czech Republic . The municipality has 384 inhabitants (2005) and extends over an area of 13.84 km².

The municipality is located in the tourist region of Přesticko about 20 kilometers northeast of Domažlice and about 35 kilometers southwest of Plzeň at 430 meters above sea level.

history

The place Srbice was mentioned for the first time around 1195 to 1226, when Přibyslava, the wife of the magnate Chotěbor , gave the place to the monastery as a gift in gratitude for the admission of her daughter to the Doksany monastery.
