Attractions

  • After the expropriation from 1945 onwards, Kanice Castle served as the seat of the League against TBC of the Czechoslovak Red Cross. In 1950 it was transferred to the district national committee, which operated a boarding school there until 1986. During this time the castle fell into disrepair and in 1986 it was left to the Czechoslovak Army, which ruined it. It has been privately owned since 1992, although it has changed hands during renovation plans. The neglected and empty object is in a state of complete decay.
