Bukovec (German Mogolzen ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic . It is located eight kilometers northeast of Horšovský Týn and belongs to the Okres Domažlice .
geography
Bukovec is located on the right side of the Chuchla brook in Chodská pahorkatina. The Čertáno game reserve extends to the south-west.
history
The first written mention of the place took place in 1177.
After the abolition of patrimonial Mogolzen formed a community in the Pilsener Kreis and judicial district Bischofteinitz from 1850 .
After the Munich Agreement , Mogolzen was added to the German Reich and until 1945 belonged to the Bischofteinitz district .
From 1984 to 1990 Bukovec was incorporated into Holýšov .
