Laurie D'Arcy
Laurie D'Arcy (actually Lawrence Leys D'Arcy ; born May 3, 1947 in Timaru ) is a former Australian sprinter of New Zealand origin.
At the 1972 Olympic Games in Munich he was eliminated from New Zealand starting over 100 m in the lead.
In 1974 he reached the semi-finals at the British Commonwealth Games in Christchurch over 100 m and won the 4 x 100 meter relay with the Australian team .
He was three times New Zealand champion over 100 yards or 100 m (1969, 1970, 1972) and twice over 220 yards or 200 m (1969, 1970). In 1972 he won the Australian 100 m title.
