Haze (* in Villingen-Schwenningen ; real name David Bošnjak ) is a German rapper from Karlsruhe .

Life

Shortly before the outbreak of the Croatian war , the parents of the Croatian Haze fled the Yugoslav republic of SR Croatia to Villingen-Schwenningen in Germany, where Haze was born shortly afterwards. The family later moved to Karlsruhe. Haze was socialized with hip hop in the 1990s and 2000s . This is also the biggest influence on his music, as he says he rarely listens to hip-hop that came out after 2000. He mentions Eminem and Dr. Dre . There is also Croatian and Yugoslav rock music. The name Haze refers to the cannabis variety "Haze", which is also often discussed in his texts. He started rapping in the 2010s. The first release was the mixtape Blues from the block in 2012 , which was released as a free download. This was followed by another mixtape with Karlsruhe School in 2014, and on April 26, 2015 the extended play Wie der Hase gehts .

Contacts were established with the 187 street gang , for whom he was allowed to play several support gigs. He chose Hadi El-Dor as manager , who has already worked with artists such as Sierra Kidd , Vega and MoTrip . Haze is a co-founder of the independent label Alte Schule Records from Freiburg, which is distributed by Universal .

In mid-April, Haze went on tour with Raf Camora . On May 6, 2016 Hose's debut album Guten Abend, Hip Hop… was released , which reached number 30 in the German album charts and also reached top 40 positions in Switzerland and Austria. In addition to Raf Camora and MoTrip, the Viennese rapper Svaba Ortak also featured on the album .
