Bozza (rapper)
Bozza is a German rapper with Bosnian roots from Hamburg .
Life
Bozza's pseudonym is based on his nickname, which he received while at school. His school days ended in eighth grade when he was thrown out of school. As a dropout, he then lived through the day and initially did not care about a professional perspective. Around this time he began rapping among his friends. He got inspiration from Kool Savas , Azad , Bushido and the label Aggro Berlin . It was first introduced to a larger audience with the Kohldampf Deluxe Box from Maxwell , which was accompanied by the collab tape Chicken & Beer . The solo mixtape Haramburg followed .
His first album Thriller was released on August 10, 2018 and was released via Press Play. After he had previously attracted attention mainly through gangsta rap , he also adopted trap sounds on the album . Feature guests included Gzuz , Joshi Mizu and Sa4 . The album reached number 74 in the German album charts.
Bozza was involved as a songwriter in the hit 90-60-111 by Shirin David , for which he received a number 1 award in the official German charts. In June 2020 Sido got him as the first signing for his newly founded label Def Jam Germany , an offshoot of Def Jam Recordings . On July 3, 2020, two songs with him hit the German charts: Selfmade Babylon by Bausa at number 22 and I don't even know what it's called, a collaboration with Capital Bra at number 3.
