The Parc national Tursujuq ( Inuktitut ᑐᕐᓱᔪᕐᒃ ) is a 26089.73 km² Parcs national in the Canadian province of Québec . There, however , a parc national corresponds to what corresponds to a provincial park in the other provinces and territories . The park is currently by far the largest of the provincial parks in Québec. The next larger, the Parc national Ulittaniujalik , has an area of only 5293.00 km².

The park, which was established on July 18, 2013, is located on the Ungava Peninsula in the far north of the Canadian province of Québec in the Nunavik region . The closest place, the Inuit settlement Umiujaq , is located east of the park on the banks of Hudson Bay and is surrounded by it.

To the west of the protected area lies Lac Guillaume-Delisle , a large triangular inland bay of Hudson Bay, and to the east of it Lac à l'Eau Claire , which arose from two impact craters . To the north of these lakes is the Lacs des Loups Marins . The park is also traversed by the Rivière Nastapoka .

According to the park administration, 38 species of mammals, 131 species of birds and 42 species of fish live in the protected area. The mammals found in the park also include the ungava seals ( Phoca vitulina mellonae ), the only subspecies of seals that live in fresh water.

In principle, the Parcs national in the province of Québec are administered by the Société des établissements de plein air du Québec (Sépaq). However, since the park is north of the 55th parallel and therefore in the Nunavik region, it is managed by Parcs Nunavik, which is subordinate to the Administration régionale Kativik (Kativik Regional Government, KGR) .
