Pilz alias Mata Hari (* 1992) is a German rapper from Lübeck . She is under contract with the record label Wolfpack Entertainment .

Musical career

Pilz took part in the video battle tournament (VBT) at the beginning of 2013 and thus received initial attention in the German hip-hop scene.

After guest appearances on Rap on Wednesday , the rumor circulated that she belonged to Baba Saad's independent label Halunkenbande . This published her music video picture title page in November 2013 and described her as the "best female rapper in Germany". Pilz also accompanied the rapper King Orgasmus One on two of his tours through Germany in 2013 and 2014. She contributed a guest part for his solo album Krieg . In addition to Pilz, rappers like JAW and Basstard are also represented in the song There is no Battle 4 .

In April 2015, Pilz signed her record deal with D-Bos music label Wolfpack Entertainment . Then, at the age of 23, she released her debut album Beef in June 2015 . Her second album Kamikaze followed in September 2016 .

Again and again she takes up global political problems, which she packs ironically in the texts. She describes her music as battle rap .

In April 2017, Pilz received death threats after winning a rap battle against the reigning champion of the DLTLLY league Nedal Nib . Pilz ironically wore a headscarf during the performance and asked Nedal Nib if she could be his "Muslim wife" and if he could "fuck her on the prayer carpet in the mosque". According to her own statements, she wanted to address the rapper's misogyny.

In May 2018 she released her third studio album Death / Birth . She received musical support on this sound carrier from Beka , Lumaraa and ÉSMaticx .

In January 2019, the rapper was featured as a guest on the album Hartgeld in the Club of Callejon alongside Ice-T and KIZ . She then accompanied the metalcore band on their German tour as a special guest.

Political activism

On the weekend of 21./22. May 2016 Pilz stuck hundreds of posters on house walls, power boxes, trash cans and billboards in the city of Lübeck that were directed against the AfD . They showed the AfD politician Beatrix von Storch with a Hitler mustache and were labeled “Courage to Truth. Hitler comes from Lübeck ” provided.

On July 8, 2017, she performed at the largest G20 demonstration in Hamburg on the Spielbudenplatz of the Reeperbahn .

On November 30, 2019, Pilz appeared in Braunschweig alongside Bosse during a large demonstration with over 20,000 participants. This demonstration was organized by the Alliance against the Right and took place on the occasion of the federal party conference of the AfD .

On December 13, 2019, Pilz published a documentary video together with human rights activist Irmela Mensah-Schramm . In this video you can see how they paint over or remove right unconstitutional graffiti and stickers. Correspondence with the city administration of the Hanseatic city of Lübeck is also published, which is supposed to prove the lazy behavior of the city administration. As a result of the documentation , unconstitutional graffiti were only partially removed 6 weeks after the first report, which is why the rapper decided to make the smear with Irmela Mensah-Schramm unrecognizable. This action was supported by the party Die Urbane. A hip hop party .
