Lumaraa (born May 12, 1990 in Landshut ; bourgeois Sabine Gerling ) is a German rapper .

Lumaraa began to love rap music as a teenager. She moved to Berlin , started rapping herself and had first notable successes with her mixtape The Beginning of a New Time . She then performed several times on Rap on Wednesday . Lumaraa's first studio album Mädchenache was released in 2012. Her first headlining tour Kämpfernat (o) ur took her to Berlin, Munich , Hamburg , Cologne , Hanover , Stuttgart and Frankfurt am Main in spring 2015 . In the same year she performed at the Female Focus Festival in support of women in hip-hop.

Further appearances followed in autumn 2015 and at the beginning of 2016, partly as part of their give me more tour, in Bremen, Cologne, Stuttgart, Munich, Hanover, Hamburg, Berlin and other places.

On February 5, 2016, she released her album Gib mir mehr , with which she stayed at number 27 in the German charts for a week . Four of the 18 songs on it were produced by Fader Gladiator . He also co-produced the video for the title track. Ozan is the only guest singer on the album. In 2017 she released her new album "Ladies First" with a total of 15 songs.

Trivia

Lumaraa is with the rapper Der Asiate and lives in Leipzig.

The stage name Lumaraa is a combination of Luna, the cat from Sailor Moon , and Lumaraa's favorite name Tamara.
