Tamas (rapper)

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Tamas (* 1983 in Berlin-Wedding ; bourgeois Tamás Bednanits ) is a German rapper and crossover singer from Berlin. He was first known as part of the DeineLtan quartet and is now active as a solo artist. He is also part of the established in 2017 four-person horror core crew Zombiez .

Life

Tamas, who is of Hungarian descent, grew up in the Berlin district of Wedding. He started rapping with the rap crew DeineLtan, who released their first demo in 2002 and released three self-published albums by 2010 and distributed by Distributionz . In 2007 the group became known for the track Fick die Cops . Investigations by the Berlin Public Prosecutor took place in the vicinity of the group. Tamas' apartment at the time was also searched. The proceedings were ultimately discontinued. After the end of DeineLtan, it will be quiet about Tamas, who was only active with a few features, including DCVDNS , Ruffiction and in the brain-dead environment.

In 2014 Tamas signed with DufteArt. In March 2016, however, it was announced that Tamas would sign the second signing on the label Auf! Neine! Fall! After Liquit Walker is. Tamas started working on his debut album. At first he tried to write classic rap songs, but recorded a hard rock remix with producer Christoph Hessler ( The Intersphere ) , which he liked so much that he changed his sound in this direction. The following video for the track Eat the Rich showed the musical transformation of the Berlin rapper. Tamas appeared with his first songs as tour support for the post-hardcore punk band Adept . In December 2015 a second video appeared with Jesus shoots .

Tamas' debut album Kopf.Stein.Plaster was released on January 29, 2016 . Just in time for the riots on May 1st in Berlin , Fick die Cops released a current version of the controversial DeineLtan song.

Music genre

Tamas likes to describe his music as hardcore punk. Metal guitars dominate , the sound is based on the crossover of the 1990s, but without being a continuation of Blackeyed Blonde or Guano Apes . Elements from Thrash Metal can also be found. In his opinion, his image most closely resembles Dave Mustaine , like Mustaine in the metal scene , he sees himself as a lateral driver and controversial lyricist. The lyrics of his debut album are socially critical and directed against various authorities such as the state, police and church.
