Macs 'n' Gees is a collaboration album by the German rappers DCVDNS and Tamas . It was released on July 5, 2019 via the label Rat-a-tat Records for download only .
production
The album was largely produced by the music producer AsadJohn , who produced ten of the twelve songs. The music for one song each comes from Wolfgang H. and MecsTreem. Impulse Beats, King Mezzy and Tevin Revell were also involved in individual productions.
Cover design
The album cover is mostly kept in red tones. It shows DCVDNA eating melted cheese from Tamas' head while Tamas kneels bare-chested in front of him. In the right part of the picture there are the letters DVC 'N' TAM and MACS 'N' GEES in red and white, respectively, written from bottom to top.
Guest Posts
In addition to the two protagonists, other artists appear on three songs on the album. The rapper Haiyti can be heard on the song Fler , while the rapper LGoony has a guest appearance on Iglus . In addition, the rapper Roberto KKult is involved in Faust full jewelry .

Struggle was released as the only single on the album for download on September 7, 2018 . A music video was also shot for the song .

Moritz Fehrle from laut.de rated Macs 'n' Gees with four out of a possible five points. The album is "catchy, loud-mouthed and wonderfully absurd," with AsadJohn as the producer providing "a board to the next" series and thus "for the high-quality and coherent sound carpet on which the two rappers then shine". The guest contributions by Haiyti and LGoony are also praised. Overall, the album convinced "with an impressive number of hits, the highest technical precision and a round sound."
