from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The 1994 European Judo Championships took place in Gdansk from 19 to 22 May . It was the first European Judo Championships in Poland, six years later the European Championships were held in Wroclaw. The host country reached fifth place in the medal table.

No judoka could successfully defend his title from the previous year. With Sergei Kosminin , Angelique Seriese and Monique van der Lee , three title holders from last year won this time in a different weight class, with the two Dutch women swapping the weight classes.
