European Judo Championships 1995
The 1995 European Judo Championships took place in Birmingham from May 11th to 14th . It was the first ever European Judo Championships in the UK since 1974 (for men) and 1986 (for women), both in London. The host country achieved third place in the medal table.
Paweł Nastula and Ulla Werbrouck in the light heavyweight division and Yolanda Soler in the super light weight division were able to defend their title from the previous year. Angelique Seriese won her fourth title in a row, but switched between the heavyweight and the open class.
