Ludwig Wilhelm von Baumbach (to identify the family line also Ludwig IV. Wilhelm von Baumbach-Nentershausen ) (born January 3, 1755 in Nentershausen ; † November 22, 1811 there ) was a German landowner and member of the noble family Baumbach .

Ludwig Wilhelm von Baumbach came from the Kirchheim branch of the Lords of Baumbach . His father was Reinhard von Baumbach (* May 1, 1708 in Nentershausen, † December 16, 1765 ibid), Hesse-Kassel Rittmeister in the "Leibregiment (King of Sweden)". On November 2, 1745, Christine Luise, or Louisa Christina, von Boyneburg called Hohenstein (born May 17, 1730 in Reichensachsen, † December 28, 1805 in Nentershausen), daughter of Dietrich Philipp von Boyneburg called von Hohenstein, was born in Reichensachsen on November 2, 1745 (Hanstein) zu Reichensachsen (* 1685) and Henriette von Bodenhausen , married. Wilhelm Lebrecht von Baumbach was a brother.

Baumbach, who was an Evangelical Reformed denomination, married Christiane von Wangenheim on November 5, 1783 in Brüheim (* August 16, 1764; † November 6, 1841). Their son Wilhelm von Baumbach (1790-1857) became the heir of the property and a member of parliament.

Life

Baumbach was the master of Nentershausen. He also served in the military, most recently as a captain. From 1787 to 1798 he was the district administrator of the Hessian river district of the Fulda river. In the Kingdom of Westphalia he was prefectural councilor in the Werra department from 1808 to 1811 . From June 2nd, 1808 until his death on November 22nd, 1811 he was a member of the imperial estates of the Kingdom of Westphalia for the Werra department and the landowner electoral group.
