European Judo Championships 2018

The 2018 European Judo Championships took place from April 26th to 28th, 2018 at the Tel Aviv Convention Center in Tel Aviv , Israel . It was the first time that the organizing European Judo Union awarded a European Championship to Israel. A total of 369 athletes from 44 countries took part in the event.

The most successful nation was Russia , whose athletes won four gold, one silver and three bronze medals. France followed in second place with three gold and two silver medals. Third place went to Belgium , Kosovo and Slovenia, each with a gold and a silver medal . German athletes won two silver and one bronze medal, which put the German Judo Association in eleventh place overall. Austria shared 18th place with two bronze medals, Switzerland shared 20th place with one bronze medal.
