European Judo Championships 2005

The 2005 European Judo Championships took place in Rotterdam from May 20th to 22nd . It was the first European Judo Championships in the Netherlands since 1996 in The Hague. The judoka from the host country took third place in the medal table and provided two European champions.

Alina Alexandra Dumitru in super lightweight and Edith Bosch in middleweight successfully defended their title from the previous year.
