European Judo Championships for men in 1971
The 1971 European Judo Championships for men took place in Gothenburg from May 22nd to 23rd . It was the first European Judo Championships in Sweden.
The host country team did not win a medal. Jean-Jacques Mounier and Rudolf Hendel were able to successfully defend their titles from the previous year.
