European Women's Judo Championships 1978
The 1978 European Judo Championships for women took place in Cologne on November 11th .
With four champions, the team from the host country had one fewer than last year at the European Championships in Arlon. Ingrid Berg won her second title in a row, Christiane Kieburg her third title and Edith Hrovat won the fourth European Championships for the fourth time.
