European Judo Championships for men 1983

The European Judo Championships for men were held for the 32nd time in 1983 and took place from May 12th to 15th in the Stade Pierre de Coubertin in the French capital Paris . 150 athletes from 27 countries took part in the championships and with Chasret Tlezeri from the Soviet Union , one of the five winners who started last year came back to be honored.
