European Judo Championships for men 1974

The 1974 Men's Judo European Championships took place in London from May 2nd to 5th . It was the first European Judo Championships to be held in the United Kingdom.

The host country team won three medals, but unlike last year the United Kingdom did not have a European champion. Sergei Melnitschenko and Sergei Novikow were able to defend their title from the previous year.
