European Women's Judo Championships 1976

The 1976 European Judo Championships for women took place in Vienna from December 9th to 12th .

The team from the host country provided a title holder with Edith Hrovat . Hrovat had also won the European Championships in Munich the year before , but one weight class lower. With Sigrid Happ , Martine Rottier , Paulette Fouillet and Catherine Pierre , four other titleholders from the previous year were able to win again.
