Sharon Rendle

Sharon Susan Rendle (born June 18, 1966 in Kingston upon Hull ) is a former British judoka who was world champion in 1987 and 1989.

Athletic career

Rendle was mostly active in the half-light weight class, the weight class up to 52 kg. In 1985 and 1986 she was British champion. At the Judo World Championships in 1986 she lost to the Japanese Kaori Yamaguchi in the semifinals , after two victories in the round of hope, Rendle received the bronze medal.
