root cause

The investigation of the wreck commissioned by the Portuguese public prosecutor's office did not reveal any technical defects. The initially widespread hypothesis of failing brakes is therefore invalid. After completing their investigations, the prosecutor has now charged the driver. She accuses him of risky driving. The indictment has not yet been published and the trial has not yet opened.
