Hlib Sahorij

Hlib Wolodymyrowytsch Sahorij ( Ukrainian Гліб Володимирович Загорій / Russian Глеб Владимирович Загорий Gleb Vladimirovich Sagori * 21st August 1976 ) is a Ukrainian politician , pharmacist and patron . He is a member of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine for the eighth legislature.

education

In 1998, Hlib Sahorij obtained the MIBA qualification at the Kyiv State Economic University in the "World Economy" department. In 2000 he obtained the qualification of process engineer at the National Pharmaceutical Academy of Ukraine (now the National Pharmaceutical University) in the field of “Technology of pharmaceutical preparations”. In 2004 he completed his doctoral studies in the subject of "Drug Technology and the Organization of Pharmaceuticals" and held his defensio on the subject of "Development of the composition and manufacturing process of a mild form of medicine for the treatment of thrombophlebitis" with the final award of the doctoral certificate as a doctor of pharmacy. Since 2006, Sahorij has been an assistant professor at the Department of Pharmaceutical Industry at the National University of Technology and Design in Kiev. Since 2012 he has been a lecturer at the chair of the pharmaceutical industry there.

Since 2012 Sahorij has been a lecturer at the Chair for Organization and Economics of Pharmacy at the National Medical Platon-Schupik Academy for postgraduate studies.

In 2014, he defended his post-doctoral thesis on the subject of "Methodological justification of the strategy and tactics of systemic measures for the optimization and effective development of domestic drug production" with obtaining the academic degree of Doctor of Pharmacy habil in the field of "Pharmaceutical Technology, Pharmaceutical Organization and Forensic Pharmacy".

Employment

Sahorij began his professional life in 1997 while studying as a department head for marketing research and logistics in the GAG ​​(closed stock corporation) "Pharmaceutical company Darnitza". From 2001 to 2009 he worked there in the position of chief coordinator for questions of general company policy and strategy; from 2009 to 2014 he held the post of general director.

Sahorij is a proponent of borrowing EU standards for the quality of medicines. In an interview for the specialist publication “Pharmazeutik-Kurier”, Hlib Sahorij emphasized in particular: “The production of harmless and effective quality drugs is no longer a competitive advantage, but our primary duty”. He is a consistent supporter of local producers of goods.

Political activity

In 2014, Sahorij was elected as People's Deputy of Ukraine in the state-wide multi-mandate constituency according to the electoral lists of the " Petro Poroshenko Bloc " (under No. 52 in the electoral list). He was a member of Parliament's Committee on Veterans and Disabled Affairs.

The Law of Ukraine "On Registration of Amendments to the Law of Ukraine" On the Status of War Veterans and Guarantees of Their Social Protection "with reference to the status of persons defending the independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine" No. 291- VIII. The adopted law expands the group of people who are from now on entitled to be granted the status of participant in acts of war, participant in war and disabled person. For the first time, certain categories of volunteers and volunteers can receive the right to the status of the participant in the acts of war and corresponding privileges alongside other military personnel. In addition, the volunteers who were disabled in the course of the ATO can now receive the status of war disabled.

The Law of Ukraine “On entering the amendment to Article 18 of the Law of Ukraine“ On State Social Aid to Invalids from Childhood and Disabled Children ”with regard to the definition of allowances for invalids of the I disability category of subcategory A” No. 495-VIII . The law serves to restore social justice in providing social assistance to disabled people from childhood on in disability category I of subcategory A. They now receive subsidies in the amount that they had received up to the age of 18.

The Law of Ukraine "On Registration of Changes in the Tax Code of Ukraine Concerning Release of Taxation of Some Drugs and Medical Products" No. 332-VIII. The aforementioned law ensures savings in the state budget when the Ministry of Health deals with the procurement of medicines through specialized international organizations for the purpose of supplying patients with essential medicines free of charge.

The Law of Ukraine “On Registration of the Amendment in Article 10-1 of the Law of Ukraine“ On Social and Legal Protection of Military Members and Members of Their Families ”” (regarding vacation time of the military) No. 448-VIII. The adopted law perfects the vacation regulations for military personnel under the conditions of the exceptional period (ATO): the unused vacation days can now be used in the following calendar year for a period of up to 90 calendar days.

Law of Ukraine No. 653-VIII “On registration of changes in article 164 of the Tax Code of Ukraine with regard to the release from taxation of pensions of war invalids and other categories of persons”. The adopted innovation exempts the pensions of the participants in the acts of war in the period of World War II, war invalids and family members of the fallen from taxation.

The Law of Ukraine No. 715-VIII “On Registration of Changes in Article 10 of the Law of Ukraine“ On the Status of War Veterans and Guarantees of Their Social Protection ”" aimed at strengthening the social protection of family members of the Heavenly Hundred.

The Law of Ukraine No. 677-VIII “On Registration of Changes in Article 36 of the Law of Ukraine“ On Compulsory State Pension Insurance ”” regarding the establishment of pensions in connection with the loss of the breadwinner to the family members of the persons who during the revolution of the Would have died from wounding, harm, or contusion.

The Law of Ukraine No. № 804-VIII “On Registration of Changes in Article 36 of the Law of Ukraine 'On Compulsory State Pension Insurance'” regarding the establishment of pensions in connection with the loss of the breadwinner to the family members of the persons who during the revolution of the Would have died from wounding, harm, or contusion. The law regulates the procedure for determining pensions in connection with the loss of the breadwinner to the family members of those who have fallen (died) during the Revolution of Dignity.

The Law of Ukraine “On Registration of Changes in Some Legislative Acts of Ukraine” (on ensuring timely patient access to necessary medicines and medical products through the implementation of state purchases with the involvement of specialized organizations that carry out relevant purchases) No. 269- VIII.

The Law of Ukraine “On Registration of Amendments to the Law of Ukraine“ On the Status of War Veterans and Guarantees of Their Social Protection ”relating to a one-time monetary grant to volunteers defending the independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, as well as family members of Fallen “No. 735-VIII. According to the law, volunteers and volunteers who became disabled during their direct participation in the anti-terrorist operation, as a result of wounding, harm or contusion, and in the event of death - their family members receive a one-time monetary allowance equal to that of the military involved in the ATO .

The Decree of the Werkhovna Rada of Ukraine “On Ensuring Appropriate Medical Treatment for Persons Damaged to Health During the Revolution of Dignity” No. 851-VIII. Persons seriously or moderately injured during the Revolution of Dignity are granted the right to free medical care in the “Feofania” clinic, hospitals for war veterans and military medical facilities (hospitals).

There were meetings of the members of the parliamentary committee with representatives of the UN Coordination Office for Humanitarian Affairs in Ukraine, in the Ukrainian Benefactor Forum, in the International Caritas Fund, in the mission “Doctors Without Borders”, in the Ukrainian Welfare Foundation “The Right to Defense”, in Rinat Akhmetov's charity fund “The Development of Ukraine”, in the National Red Cross Committee, in the Danish Council for Refugee Affairs, in the fund of Yelena Franchuk “AntiAids”, in the “Foundation for the Development of Crimea” (the project “The Crimea SOS ”).

The following working groups were founded together with social organizations and are now in function:

• For the settlement of rehabilitation problems (medical, social, etc.) of the participants in the anti-terrorist operation and other people (at the committee). The list of members of the working group
• For questions about the entry of changes in the legislation for the purpose of resolving problems related to the adoption, allocation, documentation, distribution and control of the targeted use of humanitarian aid (at the committee)
• For coordination of work in providing volunteer or charitable assistance (at the Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine).

Patronage

On a system basis, Hlib Sahorij and his father Vladimir dealt with patronage. One of the projects in this area is charitable support since 2002 for the theater company “Beniuk-Hostikoiew”. In cooperation with the company, some theater pieces were created with the personal participation of Hlib Sahorij in the further development of some ideas for presentations (the play “About Mice and People”). En-suite gaming operations “About Mice and People” was nominated for the National Taras Shevchenko Prize . For the first time in the history of the award of the Taras Shevchenko Prize, the art lover Hlib Sahorij was honored in 2006, although he was officially only named as the author of the idea.

According to Hlib Sahorij, the reduction of civil society expenditure on therapy, rehabilitation and social care of the sick is possible on condition of investing in disease prevention. It is precisely for this reason that the promotion of projects in the field of health care has become one of the directions of charity. In 2006, Hlib Sahorij supported the charity evening "The Ray of Hope" with Vladimir Spiwakov and his chamber orchestra "Virtuosos Moscow" to finance help for people suffering from multiple sclerosis.

One of the directions of Hlib Sahorij's charity is to support Ukrainian cinematography. Together with the League of Ukrainian Patrons, work on the creation of the first highly financed Ukrainian film "The Black Raven" based on the novel by Vasily Shklyar was initiated. The perception of the development of the pharmaceutical industry in connection with the promotion of the training of young professionals became decisive in the choice of the further direction of the charity of Hlib Sahorij and the pharmaceutical company Danitza - the support of the teaching process, company and graduation internship in the subject-oriented higher education institution - National Pharmaceutical University.

In 2015, Hlib Sahorij was included as an active patron in the composition of the Council for Development Issues of the National Museum Complex of Culture and Art “Mystetsky Arsenal”. Since 2014, Hlib Sahorij has been transferring his salary of the People's Deputy to the account of the Ukrainian Catholic University for Teaching Needs and since 2015 to the international charity fund “Tabletochki”.

In 2015, the Sahorij family's charitable fund (Фонд семьи Загорий) was created. The activity of the fund is mainly directed towards the implementation of system projects in health care and the maintenance of cultural and spiritual values ​​of the country.

At the beginning of 2015, the Sahorij family fund and the pharmaceutical company Darnitza each donated two annual scholarships to support talented students. In the same year the Fund became the general partner of the Ukrainian Forum of Benefactors at the VI. Ukrainian photo competition "Charity through the prism of the lens". According to the results of the competition, the winners received both monetary and recognition prizes from the fund.

Since 2015, the Sahorij family fund has been working actively with the social organization “Ukrainian Fund 'Zdorovie'” as part of the “I can save life!” Project. The mission of the fund within the framework of the project is to teach young people how to provide first medical aid, how to persevere in acute life situations and how to be helpful.

In 2016, the Sahorij Family Fund joined the Rodovid publishing house initiatives by launching the Kazimir Malevich. Kiev period 1928-1930 ”, which adds new unique pages to the history of Ukrainian art.

In June 2016, the Zagoryi Family Fund signed a cooperation agreement with the Ukrainian Pediatric Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery Center for the supply of equipment to the transfusion department. The acquired cooling and freezing equipment will allow the storage of components of the donated blood in larger volumes, which are necessary for heart operations, while observing the retention period specified in the relevant instructive documents of the Ministry of Health Protection of Ukraine.

Hlib Sahorij is married for the second time and has three children.

Sports

Hlib Sahorij is a board member and honorary president of the Jiu-Jitsu Association of Ukraine.

He was the national rally champion of the Ukraine. He was also the helmsman of Vladimir Petrenko, the leader of the national rally classification in class No. 4.

Hlib Sahorij is one of the few Ukrainian rally navigators who belonged to international crews.

The crew of Tschepik and Sahorij became one of the first Eastern European crews to take part in the official international competition in 2007 with the Super 2000 racing car.

Hlib Sahorij was the absolute national champion of Ukraine in the ranking of rally navigators.

Achievements

Hlib Sahorij was a participant in the Forbes ranking of the most successful family businesses in Ukraine in 2015 (the total income of family-owned companies in 2014 was 1.20 billion UAH ).
