Mwanga (city)

Mwanga is a city in northern Tanzania . It is located on the main Tanga - Arusha road at the foot of the North Pare Mountains and is the capital and administrative seat of the Mwanga district in the Kilimanjaro region .

Mwanga is an educational focus in the region with several elementary and secondary schools. Two schools offer classes for deaf children. The largest secondary school in the city, Mwanga High School , maintains a partnership with the Humboldt School in Bad Homburg vor der Höhe, Hesse . The school is owned by the Tanzanian Parents Association TAPA.

The One World Secondary School Kilimanjaro is also located in Kisangara in the immediate vicinity of the city of Mwanga . It is a German-Tanzanian model school and is funded by the German support association Friends of OWSK eV.
