Band history
myGRAIN was founded in 2004 by Tommy ( vocals ), Matthew ( electric guitar ) and Resistor (electric guitar) after their previous band, New Science Band, split up. The line-up was joined shortly afterwards by DJ Locomotive ( drums ) and Eve ( keyboard ).
Jonas played the electric bass on the two self-produced demos , but was accepted as a permanent member of the band after the second demo in April 2005.
Shortly after the recordings of The Red Frame , myGRAIN was signed by the Spinefarm Records label , with which they released their debut album Orbit Dance after a short time . After many tours through Finland, the band recorded their second album Signs of Existence , which was released in 2008. In May 2008 guitarist Matthew left the band and was replaced by Teemu Ylämäki on live performances, who was accepted on July 28, 2008 as a permanent member of the band.
In April 2015, the band announced their split on Facebook.
On July 7, 2018, the band announced via Facebook that, after a break of more than 3 years, the band had been revived and new recordings had already started. On November 23, 2018, the band released EP III .
