Carn Menyn

The Mynachlog-ddu Stones (also known as Carn Menyn) are west of Mynachlog-ddu in the Preseli Hills , near Newport in Dyfed in Pembrokeshire in Wales . The two stones of Mynachlog-Ddu can be seen from the Blustone Monument 150 meters away.

The stone pair is a scaled down version of Cwm Garw or Cerrig Meibion - the Stones of Arthur's Sons at Maenclochog . One is about two meters high and the other 1.6 meters high. They are about fourteen meters apart. One is popularly called the Dreaming Stone ( German  "the dreaming stone" ).

The nearby bluestone quarries on Carn Menyn (Carn Meini) are covered by a tree.

To the south is the Bronze Age stone circle of Gors Fawr .
