Národní politika (German National Politics ) was a conservative Czech daily newspaper in the years 1883-1945.

Before that, since June 21, 1883, it was an independent supplement to the newspaper “ Politik” . The first editor-in-chief of Národní politika was Josef Hubáček , who previously worked for Hlas Národa (Voice of the People). He was followed in 1885 by Josef J. Toužimský , then by Ludvík Bratršovský , from 1905 to 1927 by Václav Beneš-Šumavský and from 1927 by Josef Janda . In 1938 Václav Crha became editor-in-chief, in 1943 Jan Scheinost .

The publisher was the Politika printing and publishing house in Prague . Originally it was the proclamation organ of the political grouping of the Old Czechs , after the First World War an organ of the Národní Demokratická Strana (National Democratic Party).

The newspaper appeared in large numbers, was economically supported by numerous advertisers and was mainly read by the middle class.
